Podcast: mixed perspectives

Hello, adored readers of this blog. Sorry for the lack of posting for a while… Things have been busy in ways good and bad, and a lot of my writing energy (and mojo generally) has been channelled away from blogging.

I will endeavour to write more here in the New Year – in particular, hopefully, to start sharing some of my favourite new poems on a regular basis – but, in the meantime, I thought I’d share something that’s come out of an interesting recent experience.

I was invited to stay at Gladstone’s Library on the borderlands of North Wales  and England for a few days, where I gave a talk in which I read some poems and reflected about writing from mixed perspective. You can read the interview I did with the Library beforehand here, and listen to the resulting talk here. Any thoughts appreciated, of course, even if it’s just about my weird voice.

Hope you’re all finding ways to enjoy 2017’s home straight. Things can only get better… right?
